Dr. Patrick Clark is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. He grew up in Rio Grande City, a part of the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. After graduating high school with a dual Associate’s degree in Biology, he went on to complete Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio with honors. He then continued his education at the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, earning his Doctor of Optometry and awarded the honor of class valedictorian.

While in optometry school he was fortunate to receive multiple awards and honors. Dr. Clark completed clinical rotations at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston and an Ophthalmology private practice in San Antonio. Immediately following optometry school, Dr. Clark accepted a residency position at the Doris Miller VA Medical Center in Waco, TX, where he completed an ocular disease residency serving our nation’s Veterans. While in residency, he became proficient in the treatment and management of glaucoma, diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy, macular degeneration, and dry eye syndrome.

While not in clinic, Dr. Clark enjoys trying new restaurants and traveling to new places with his wonderful wife and friends. Dr. Clark is also a huge fan of the San Antonio Spurs and America’s Team, the Dallas Cowboys.
